While this is true, ANY US-based supplier has to adhere to US sanctions regulation. It is "go to jail time" for directors if they resist. And, you may be surprised to hear, European governments are also in the sanctions business a lot.

@bert_hubert yeah this is definitely more of a "letting you know, and also adhering to compliance by not offering you a service to begin with" thing than something they "grant themselves".
