I just installed the #ChatGPT client https://github.com/karthink/gptel in my #Emacs, and I am going to use it!
For what, I'm not sure. But it already helped me with putting my API key into pass and read it into my config.el. 🤷
I'm also pretty sure it knows a little bit of #Ruby.
#chatgpt #emacs shell yay!

#emacs I hardly ever print, but this is cool
```
(use-package! transient-extras
:config
(require 'transient-extras-lp)
(with-eval-after-load 'dired
(define-key
dired-mode-map
(kbd "C-c C-p") #'transient-extras-lp-menu))
(with-eval-after-load 'pdf-tools
(define-key
pdf-misc-minor-mode-map
(kbd "C-c C-p") #'transient-extras-lp-menu)))
```
What is your preferred location for the #Emacs configuration?
I recently relocated my `.emacs.d` directory to `$XDG_CONFIG_DIR/emacs`, and so far, it seems like a wise choice.

umh, i cannot not find how to... is there a way to disable lsp-mode
not only in the current buffer but completely ? thanks, thanks, thanks for your #help
A short but very useful one :) Say you're browsing with Mu4e a patch sent to you using git send-email. Want to quickly git-am it? Ok, just switch to the Magit status buffer of the repository you want to apply the patch to and call this function. #emacs #magit #mu4e
My thoughts on #meow after one week:
Hot take:
Documentation that doesn't put a usage example front and centre is just as useless as cooking recipe blogspam.
I don't want to read an exacting formal specification of every parameter to this function any more than I want to hear about somebody's trite culinary anecdotes.
Looking at you in particular, #emacs.
Once upon a time, I had an #emacs package that would put example usage in the documentation output from `describe-function`.
Anyone know what I'm referring to, because as great as helpful from @wilfredh is, it doesn't have that feature.
And here it is!
Simple color functions for #Emacs Lisp, currently RGB/HSL parsing, formatting and conversion.
And it comes with tests (next time I'm looking for something less painful than ert).
Melpa submission in progress.
@mookie I appreciate your brave decision 😀 But don't worry, I won't try to convert you to the Church of #Emacs 👍
Quick and dirty #Emacs Lisp function to convert a HSL color string to a RGB color string. I use it to specify face colors with HSL color strings which can be highlighted by rainbow-mode.
Edit: fixed calculation of the hue component.

I've been working on my personal problem solving abilities and would like to ask for some help. #clojure #emacs
For those developers who consider themself professionals: What problem solving techniques or resources helped you become a better problem solver?
As I currently tend to over analyze things to the point where I'm basically lost in the details (edge cases). I would like to build up a personal problem solving system of some kind, to help better guide my thinking.
Thanks in advance!
