   I am certainly not alone in recalling the days when #BeOS was brand new and totally hot. Not to mention well out of my price range hardware wise.

   I remember when #HaikuOS started, and have flirted with it on occasion. I figure a fresh #VirtualMachine is a great reintroduction to the system.

   Naturally, the first thing I do is see if #emacs can be installed. 😁

     @swrogers Actually, the newest release of #Emacs has #HaikuOS support!

     The might be a reason to try out this amazing OS again.

     @frankps @swrogers I honestly thought about it. However I'm a total C++ beginner and somewhat hesitant to learn this huge language just to port Tuner to #HaikuOS. Are there any other languages with GUI support for HaikuOS?

     @frankps Hm, I see that #HaikuOS has Java support, maybe convert #Tuner to #Java?
